A huge THANK YOU for another wonderful day. The Dubai leg of the World Series was GL Hearn’s second outing and we are looking forward to the next one! The Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club was a spectacular setting, the course immaculate and the Guinness & Oyster networking reception overlooking the creek was something to remember. The event provided us with a great networking opportunity in a relaxed setting, which is increasingly hard to find from corporate events. I would like to thank the GGOG team for their smooth and professional running of the day and Lord Iveagh for hosting us.

THE VENUE

Dominating Dubai’s enchanting waterfront, the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club overlooks the Creek and Marina. Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club opened in January 1993 to world acclaim and since then it has been host to numerous tournaments and events, including the Dubai Desert Classic on two occasions. The course record of 63 is jointly held by Lee Westwood and Darren Clarke.

Having attended GGOG at Burhill, London and thoroughly enjoyed the day, I thought the opportunity to attend the event in Dubai was not to be missed. This was a fantastic decision as the Dubai event certainly didn’t disappoint! GGOG put on a fantastic show hosted in the most wonderful setting at Dubai Creek. The calibre of golf and those that turned up to play was brilliant not to mention the useful business connections made. It was also fantastic to see familiar faces all over Dubai in the coming few days! Great craic! Sign us up for 2018!
